Powerful and robust - I ve owned one of these for a year and it is very powerful, a little heavy and the original chain is just about adequate. I am now on the second chain which is much better - its a USA made product. I ve had one problem, the on/off button was faulty after 11 months of hard work but it was replaced under warranty without question. JCB s parts centre do keep spare parts for them and the bar and chain are standard parts off the shelf from other suppliers so yes I would definately recomend the ECS2000.
